ABOUT US

Lawrence Flores is the Founder and President of Proactive Network Consulting (PNC), which builds computer networks for small and medium sized businesses in downtown San Francisco. Founded in 1997, PNC is a Microsoft Certified Partner offering specialized and sophisticated technology services to professional firms.

 With 10 years of business experience, PNC serves as an extremely responsive outsourced IT department, complete with a 90 minute response time guarantee.  Several local firms rely on PNC to develop and manage their IT assets which includes Husic Capital Management, the Tsao Design Group and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. 

Lawrence Flores has a passion for helping small businesses succeed and has many years of experience helping organizations navigate the challenges of IT planning, management and security. He founded PNC after working as the IT Manager at Caligari and Morris (1996-1997) and GT Global Capital Management (renamed LGT Asset Management) (1994-1996).  

Flores is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (1992).

An active member of the San Francisco business community, Flores is a member of San Francisco Rotary #2, a professional service organization.  He currently serves on its Grants Committee and the "Rotary Means Business” Committee.  He is also a member of the "San Francisco Chamber of Commerce" and BNI "Business Network International".

 Flores is married with two wonderful children and lives in Noe Valley. In his rare free time, he enjoys travel, golf and spending time with his family.

Founded in 1997, ProActive Network Consulting is a San Francisco based provider of comprehensive IT solutions and support for professional firms. ProActive specializes in supporting professional firms, with less than 100 computers.

ProActive appeals to the distinct concerns of the firm’s owner, the office/network administrator, and the end user. We address the owner concern that they have the right technology in place and are making the right decisions when it comes to their computers. We prevent the office/network administrator from becoming overwhelmed by the demands of maintaining technology and we assure the technology will enhance end user productivity. ProActive consistently monitors and addresses these concerns.

Our clients interact with ProActive’s trustworthy team of certified IT professionals who follow the ProActive Way™ system for delivering technology solutions and support to professional firms. Our professionals understand our clients’ businesses, listen to their concerns, ask relevant questions, communicate in clear English, and share their knowledge with clients and peers.

Our clients receive the ProActive Way Relationship Binder, which is the foundation of the ProActive system. This binder empowers both parties to play an active role in maintaining the firm’s technology. The binder is stored at the client location and preserves the firms’ historical IT records, as well as defining measurable results, streamlining technical support and defining the technology vision for the future for the client.
